The goal of this personal project was to recreate some of the magic and inspiration that older illustrated book covers evoke. This book series is a favorite of mine from childhood so my personal connection greatly influenced and motivated the project. The variety of imagery and colors used convey many facets of this saga and its overarching adventure plot. The redesigned covers give a sort of sneak peak into the stories to intrigue new readers. While some say don’t judge a book by their cover, the cover is truly the key to a book’s appeal.
